Okay, so the title is obviously a pun :P But I also chose it because of a couple of scriptures:
34 "Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me."
I am so excited to serve the people of Hungary! A large part of LDS missions is just loving and helping people :) A Hungarian proverb reads, "A hűség hegyeket mozgathat meg." It means, "Faithfulness can move mountains." I look forward to working with faith to help lots and lots of people :)
Additionally, John 7:37 reads:
"In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me and drink."
I am also excited to share the gospel "feast" with those who are searching for meaning and truth. This gospel fills you! In other words, I know from personal experience that knowing my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, and being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, has given me a peace and joy that I otherwise would not have found.
If any of you have questions or are searching for a similar peace, feel free to check out http://mormon.org/ or missionaries near you!
